Day 01: Calicut - Wayanad

Pickup up from Calicut Airport / Railway Station. Drive to Thusharagiri –Caressed in the folds of the Western Ghats is the picturesque Thusharagiri Waterfalls. Lying 50 km from Kozhikode, the Thusharagiri Waterfalls comprises Erattumukku, MazhavilChattom, and Thumbithullum Para which can be reached through trekking. Thusharagiri or 'mist-capped peaks' gets its name from the beautiful silvery crown formed at the mountain top due to the waterfalls. The nature here will transport to a different dimension where time itself comes to a standstill. Having a dip in the cool water here is highly recommended as well, to revive one’s body and mind. The atmosphere on the way to waterfalls is filled with the aroma of various plantations that are on every traveller’s wish list like arecanut, pepper, ginger and spices. Mist-capped peaks, ebullient streams, boisterous waterfalls, dramatic backdrops of lush woods and plantations makes it is a wonderful destination to enjoy nature at its finest. Later proceed to Aripara Waterfalls. Aripara Falls is located in Thiruvambadi panchayat in Kozhikode district, Kerala. The waterfall is a tributary of Iruvanjippuzha river. The waterfall have huge rocks and it seem that water is coming from the rocks that is why it is called as Aripara Falls. The water is cool and refreshing and there are huge elephantine rocks in the river and waterfall which makes it ideal place for adventure lovers. It is located on the Thiruvambadi – Anakkampoyil route, 15 km from Thiruvambadi. and 45 km from Calicut. The waterfall is not much explored by tourist and is not that developed , its natural beauty is maintained. Its a great picnic spot for nearby peoples. Many tourists and adventure seeker come to this place for thrilling experience in the woods. Later straight drive to Nilambur. Nilambur is a municipality and a taluk in the Malappuram district of the Indian state of Kerala. It is located close to the Nilgiris range of the Western Ghats on the banks of the Chaliyar River.Teak Museum is located 4 km from Nilambur, a town in the Malappuram district of Kerala, south India. Teak occurs naturally in India with the main teak forests found in Kerala. The museum, a two storey building, is the world's first teak museum and is operated by the Kerala Forest Research Institute

Day 02: At Wayanad

After breakfast move to Mananchira Square, a beautiful park. It is a fusion of the Mananchira, (a freshwater manmade pond) the nearby Tagore and Ansari parks, and the large maidanam (grounds). The palace tank has a traditional architectural design and is reminiscent of the ancient times. Next move to the sweetest place i.e., Mithai Theruvu (Sweet Street), which is always a perfect place for the sweet lovers. It is one of the busiest places in Calicut, also known to be business hub of the city. After lunch move to Pazhassi Raja Museum, a museum built with Evening move to Kappad Beach, gateway to the Malabar Coast famous for its beauty and it is it was the place where Vasco da Gama, the famous world explorer first set his foot and the legendary Spice Route came into existence. A perfect setting for tourists who wants to enjoy the sunrise or sunset. The trip is over. It’s time to return back…to your Home with sweet memories
